Outlaws Rod & Custom's Staff
Outlaws Rod & Custom
|
Our dedicated and experienced staff members include:
Asa Wilson - Owner and Partner
Asa was born working on cars. His dad was a car fanatic and Asa tagged behind him every step of the way. At 18, Asa joined the Navy and made a career out of it. He retired after 23 years as a Senior Chief Electrician (Submarines). During his last tour, along with Mike, they started Outlaws as a part-time business. After retirement, Asa opened Outlaws as a full-time operation and has never looked back. Asa is certified "Car Crazy" and likes all cars. He has no allegiance to any particular brand. His current crop of cars include a 2000 Corvette, a 67 Mustang, a GT-40 Replica, a 86 V8 powered Fiero and a couple of El Caminos.
Mike Hill - Owner and Partner
Mike has also been working on cars all his life. Mike has built his own cars and has had a hand in building many other peoples' cars in the garage behind his house. You could drive by almost any day of the evening and find him out there working. Mike has extensive welding and fabrication skills and can build almost anything out of metal. Mike currently has a 40 Chevy Panel Truck, a 1946 Chevy truck project and his son’s 1955 Chevy Truck project. As you can tell Mike is kind of partial to Chevrolet!
Lee Roy Runion - Shop Foreman
Lee Roy and Asa met during their last tour in the Navy. Lee Roy also retired with 23 years as a Chief Machinist Mate (Submarines). He has been with Outlaws since they opened full-time and is a major contributor to the success of Outlaws. If you look at the pictures on the web site, LeeRoy took them all. He has worn out at least three cameras over the last 5 years! He is the one that organizes the work and keeps things rolling smoothly. We couldn't do it without him!
Claude Shifflett - Body Shop Foreman
Claude is a legend. We have learned so much from him over the last 2 years. He is from the old school generation and he knows these cars inside and out. There are not to many types of cars out there that he hasn’t worked on before. We call him the "Doctor" because he can fix anything! We are honored to have him as part of the team.
